Ich binde herab Theodora zu der Teth-ys bei Pherrephatte (= Persephone) und zu denUnfertigen; dass wirkungslos sie sei undwas auch immer zu Kallias je sie sagt undzu Charias was auch immer sie sagt; Leib undWerke und Worte; und Werke, soviel auch immer sie tut,und Worte; Reden, die auch immer sie spricht zuTheodora; dass zu Charias sie wirkungslos sei.Und dass Charias vergesse der Theodora und des Kin-des der Theodora; dass Charias vergessedes Beischlafes mit Theodora.

Wie dieser hier wirkungslos daliegt, soganz wirkungslos sei für Theodora alles,Worte und Werke für Charias und fürdie anderen Menschen. Ich binde herab Theodo-ra zu dem Hermes Chthonios („Unterirdischen“) und zu denUnfertigen und zu der Tethys: alle (ihre) Worteund Werke für Charias und für die anderenMenschen und den Beischlaf mit Charias;dass Charias vergesse des Beischlafs mit The-odora und des Kindes der Theodora, und dass die-ser sich dorthin abwendevon Theodora.

I bind down Theodora to Teth-ys at Persephone’s Side And tothe unaccomplished ones; may she be unaccomplished andwhat she may ever say to Kallias andwhat she may say to Charias; her body anddeeds and words; and the deeds in whatever way she acts,and words; – whatever conversation he may have withTheodora. Let her be unaccomplished to Charias;Charias should forget Theodora and the chi-ld of Theodora; Charias should forgetsex with Theodora.

Just as this (corpse) lies here unaccomplished, solet all Theodora’s things be unaccomplished,her words and deeds with respect to Charias andother people; I bind down Theodor-a to Hermes Chthnios and to theunaccomplished ones and to Teythys; let her wo-rds and deeds with respect to Charias and otherpeople be unaccomplished, and (her) sleeping with Charias;and Charias should forget sex with The-odora and Theodora’s child, and heshould turn away therefrom Theodora.
